Introduction
Now that you have read the problem of hunger and poverty, what is the main cause of this? In both articles, it was said that there was an unequal distribution of goods. However, if we know that it is wrong, why does it persist? The answer is the Structure of Sin.
The Structures of Sin
What is the Structure of Sin? Simply put, we are all sinners. Each human is, regardless of all factors. But what happens when multiple people come together to form a society? This is where the Structures of Sin are born. If multiple people overlook a sinful thing, and it slowly becomes a societal norm, then it becomes a Structure of Sin‐a sin that is supported by society. But what can we do about it?
What Can We Do?
The best thing to combat the Structures of Sin, and thus ensure a better society for everyone to live in, is to not support sin. Easy enough said, but harder in practice. It means going against the norm, and being outcasted as a result. But, if enough people do it, then the people in charge will start to take notice. Through democratic means, change can occur.
